I'm a big friendly marmot
And I live next to a glacier
I'm a fan of the hikers
And the hikers sure love nature

So we all get along
Yeah, nothing could go wrong

They have some cool things
And they seem real kind
When I see something I want
Then I take it

I know that they won't mind
Seein' as their so kind

One day I saw two hikers
Who looked very much in love
They both were tall and clever
They saw things from above

I'm sure glad they got together
Since they're both call and clever

I could tell they was real nature folk
They met picking up trash
And when he killed that rattlesnake
She almost ditched his... behind

That was a close call

They've been hiking in the Andes
She went hiking in Japan
I sure wanted that bandana
I sure thought he'd understand

He left it hanging on that tree
Wasn't he offering it to me?

So I pick up that bandana
And I pause before I go
Wouldn't want to frame his friends
So I wait there just to show

That I'm the one who took it
I just thought he'd like to know

When he saw that blue bandana
A-hanging from my mouth
He tried to chase me down
I'm not sure what that's about

What did I do wrong? I don't know
But he's sure feeling something strong

I went down to their kitchen
To compliment their food
I heard that they were 3-star chefs
So I thought it must be good

But he kept yelling like an animal
I'm just a friendly mammal

He put fear in my eyes
And he filled my heart with dread
So I let him know my feelings
By peeing on his bed

Then I pause before I go
Just to let him know

I don't hold it against them
We just got off on the wrong paw
And all those hard feelings
Softened up like the spring thaw

Since he's marrying Hannah, he's kinder now
He gives away bandanas
